The European Union supports member states in streamlining their public budgets to better align with environmental, climate and sustainability goals (SDGs). As part of the Technical Support Instrument Sustainability in Local Public Finances (TSI SLPF) for selected European cities, FiFo Köln provides expertise as a German local expert for SDG budgeting. The project is being carried out in cooperation with the Hamburg Ministry of Finance, the KDZ-Center for Public Administration Research in Vienna, the international technical cooperation agency Expertise France and the European Commission's Directorate-General for Structural Reform Support (DG REFORM).
